Wheel Paint

My Alloys are really bubbly and eroding all white stuff.
Can't afford £40-£50 per wheel to do em up, so I've decided to rub down and paint them.
Anyone used Hammerite?
I know it needs Special Metals Undercoat first, but I think it's cheapest option?

Unless of course, YOU know better???????

i used auto glym 'wheel silver' on a few sets. looks good as a nice bright silver. one can should do you for about £8? 1 can of primer and 1 can of laquer. bout £20 all in ?! (and a couple hours)
