I've been thinking in time getting another set of wheels for my T2 for laning etc & fitting them with M/T's.
Dose anyone know if the wheels off a shogun, trooper etc will fit without problems ? The reason being is that my local breakers sometimes get then in & the wheels with tyres normaly cost £10/15 each

yes they fitted fine.
all jap 4x4 should be fine so long as not to newer model due to different front hubs

Have a look HERE

The site list different wheel fitments. T2/Mav have a different offset to other jap 6 stud wheels, Mitsi wheels will stick out further, others are more inset these may cause problems fouling inner wings or suspension limiting lock, equally on full bump the mitsi wheels might catch the outer wheel arch - just something to be aware of. Many people are running wheel spacers though without problems so Mitsi wheels will probably be ok

i had bf goodrich longtrail 235/70/16 on without issue even loaded with half tonne or so some navara boys putting 22" with rubber bands on there trucks for poseability!

Thats one thing i'm starting to get sick of is people saying I need to put 20" or 22" wheels on mine & lower the suspension  15's max 16's will do me just fine 8)

bf goodrich doin 17" off road rubber to fit newer navaras as there 17" as standard 22" would last around 4hrs on my truck! mind u if i got hold of some 22.5 id run lorry tyres !

Do anyone know if Vauxhall Frontera wheels will fit a maverick?
looked on the link from hummingbird and they are not listed.

Have you checked isuzu fitment instead of looking at the frontera?
Not yet, a lad at work as put a piston though the engine casing, so he's going to part the frontera, just was wondering about the wheels as they look wider then the one on ours.
Paul.

Hi Paul you could always ask your mate if you could try them on your Mav to see what the fitment is like

P.S. did you get your key sorted or did it go over the wall :?

Seen him tonight, going to call round and have a play with them on my next wekend off.
Not had time to play with the key, going to call round to my local scrap yard and have a look at their keys. seem to be going round in circles at the mo, put £10 of diesel in this morning only to find about 1/2 on the depot floor when I came to come home.

Thanks Hummingbird..The frontera is a L reg on 15 inch wheels.

A thought with larger wheels.... when I upgraded to 235 75 R15 my spare wheel cover caught on the rear windscreen wiper.... so I put wheel spacers on the bracket...

This was only 3 thick washers, one per bolt and held with black tape so they stayed inplace..

Worth checking, especially with non standard offset.

Would a set of Mits shogun wheels fit ok with a PCD5.5" :? :? :? They are 16" steels & i'm unsure what the best tyre size would be for these as I' be looking at fitting MT tyres on them.
Thanks for any help

Standard tyre size on 16" for later Terrano's is 235/70 R16, so if the wheels are a good fitment, then these should be the right size for you.

5.5" is 139.7 which is same as Nissans. Usually quoted as 139.7mm but its obviously originally 5.5". Almost all jap 6 studs are the same. Offsets vary though - dramatically too at times.

Thanks guy's  Got to wait a bit to see what price I can get them for.
The next problem is the wheel nut  as I don't think mit's ones fit. Do you think Nissan micra ones fit as I can get loads of these from the breakers down the raod from me
