What the best way to work under the terrano?

Jack up & stands or ramps.

Also, been meaning to get myself a set of wheel chocks. Any recommendations?

I have a gravel drive so I use ramps but in my brothers workshop I use stands. Depends if you need the wheels off too.

I have two sets of ramps, if I need a wheel off I drive it up one set then use the others to support a trolley jack to lift the wheel off the ramp.
Being rather wrinkly it is easier to work above ground level, also easier to lift the wheel back on

Get any substantial square of wood & cut two triangles from it.

I used to work with cable drums & the drums sometimes came on cradles with triangular chocks. Excellent for wheel chocks.

Or just use house bricks :thumb2

For the last couple of years, when we go to the Steam fairs, they have been doing some nice little folding wheel chocks, for just £2... They are just like the ones that come in the Toyota spare wheel kit. The ones I got are the same as this, which are being sold as "Heavy Duty" on ebay.

I got sets for both the T2's, and the caravan, as they are nice and small, store under the rear seat, and they work a dream. You can get them on Ebay, the Silverline ones do not look much different.
