Here’s a good one. I got a new set of tyres fitted on Thursday. Pleased with the tyres but the balance on them
Cut a long story short, loads of places passed comment on balancing 4x4 wheels and why they couldn’t guarantee getting it right. The main thing was the shape in the wheel centre being not round so the balancing machine cone wouldn’t fit.
Bit of lateral thinking and off to our nearest hgv tyre fitting depot and the bloke there did me a “powder balance”
Basically some powder put in to your tyre. Doesn’t affect or gunge it up in any way but it does find the light or heavy spots and balance from within
Amazing and best of all it works -welldone-
