Whats This Pipe

Does anyone know what this pipe is. It's hanging down by the diff. Wondered if it's a diff breather pipe but no idea where it fits if it is.

Again will it be an MOT Fail?

Looks like it's got the bit of whatever stuck inside the pipe:nenau
I would see where it reaches and look for something missing

yes diff vent pipe, the metal part is still in the hose if you look on top of diff slightly to the nearside you will see a hex nut unscrew this, you may be able to get the pipe braised back on, but check your diff oil it may be water contaminated, if it is not clear, change it pronto, Rick

have sold several and used one myself so not sure if I have one, if not you could sent the two parts to me an I stick em together for you, be as strong as original, Rick

I've just brought a diff breather kit :sly
Just need time to fit it and plumb it all up to the snorkel head :doh

Well my truck isn't going anywhere soon so not too much hurry for me. My son went under the truck today and recovered the bits from the hose and also checked the coupling left in the diff was loose. Clever lad:clap
