Whats a Banjo filter?

As you can probably tell, I no nothing about them. Only heard about them here. can someone try and give me an idea:rolleyes: I have a td27 without a intercooler...well ...not yet anyway:sly
 
its a little filter that, if you listen closely, sounds like Deliverence....
 
Not all models have them, so don't panic if you don't find one. David.

From what I know all td engines had filter unless previous owner took it out as in the td engine the filter is below the banjo bolt but with the 2 Bosch pumps I've seen its in side the banjo hope that helps any1

They little buggers. Mine did not have one, after spending an hour try to get it out!:doh No wonder i could not find it. Its not a big job, just a couple of spaners and a bent bit of wire and an hour spare and you home and dry.:thumbs
