Hello guys,

I am fitting few gadget above sun visor on my Terrano 2 TD27TI - USB charger, tyre pressure monitor, fuel filter pressure sensor (I am driving on WVO).
I am also keen to know air boost and motor oil pressure. Can you suggest if TD27TI has these sensors fitted and I can access them through wiring or OBD2; or I need to fit these sensors?
Is there a list of sensors for this engine?

Thank you!

Assuming a 2.7 TDi, the only analogue sensors I am aware of are fuel & engine temp.
Some of the post ~2004 had OBD2, if you have a 16pin DTC check and see if pin 7 (K-line) is fitted.
Your best resource is the EC section of the R20 service manual, that details all of the sensors.

Would be very interested to see where your mounting the hardware:thumbs There is no turbo boost sensor on the 2.7TDI that I know of I just plumbed in a gauge & the oil pressure sensor is just for low pressure as far as I know but i'm sure you can plumb in a gauge once you find the right connector.

Yeah, will stick few photos later. I can definitely use plastic pipe and fit gauge inside the car, but just thought it will be better to use OBD information if it's available.
I read somewhere that boost pressure can be take from MAF sensor, but i'm not sure if you actually get pressure readings, or just air flow, which is then interpreted by ECU.
If all these OBD2 wifi senders can read air pressure properly - that would be great!

I think it'll just be the air flow speed the MAF will pick up as the MAF is before the turbo so won't be able to know what the turbo is doing:augie
