Standard Terrano sport stereo with changer under seat, lacks bass but does me fine

As above... only mine has no display as it stopped working the day after I got the car..

CD/SD card player at the moment.

Transferring everything over from vehicles right now. Usually CD/SD card player, CB and UHF/VHF radio.

4x50w pc head unit with usb input / iphone conection / bluetooth phone connection /caller ID :naughty which is very handy no need for seprete hands free unit .:augie

Sony Xplode, 45wpc with an mp3 input (Don't want to listen to Spanish radio all day, so I use my ipod).
Standard Nissan/Blaupunkt speakers, all sounds pretty good to me.

Not as many speakers as 96terrano but I bet it's as loud :sly
Kenwood head unit mp3 , usb and aux inputs. Feeding some JBL 6x9 s in the front doors and terrano tweeters in the std position, Mutant 6x9 s in the rear deck floor and twin 10" subs mounted in the rear side body. 4 channel power amp mounted under passenger seat .
JBL in the door and behind std grill, no point putting anything special here 'cause of all the water etc when river crossing

The more powerful mutants are just behind the front seats and mounted into the floor so I get plenty of BASS response here :naughty Can't find the shot I wanted but here's the cut out stage

looking from the back you can also see the subs mounted up on the sides

Alpine Power amp fitted to seat subframe so it's got a chance when the water comes in, about 3" max before the fuse goes

Subs at the back are free air type and so don't need a huge box to make them work. That said they do effectively have some volume behind the paneling.

I made up some covers from mdf and an old flag :)
Boom

Bottom of the line Alpine head unit running through OEM bins except for the pair low in the front doors, which have been replaced with small Alpine bins that fit in the original plastic cone frames. Think it's about 40w output, 6-way.

The T2 is the right shape for music. After years of dicking about with HDD head units, DVDs with mini-widescreens and all that in my earlier rolling bankruptcy wagons, this set up is actually superb for rock, country & blues.

whats Spanish radio like? its got to be better then UK surly?
NOOOO!! It's absolute c**p. 20 mins of 200mph Spanish talk, then one record which has a 90% chance of being Spanish (the only UK/American music they seem to know is George Michael or Michael Jackson) then another 20mins of 200mph Spanish.
Oh, and I forgot, the radio stations (there are thousands of them) run out of range every few miles if you're travelling, so you have to find another one that's not a 24hr talk programme!

ahh ok, where i live i get about 8 stations that are good quality, but i wished i got more:augie

did i not sell you some speakers?:nenau:nenau
Ypu certainly did, and very good they are too, nice detailed sound with an adequate level of bass.
Re your eight stations, at least they (presumably) speak English, whereas finding an English-speaking station in the Andalucia region is next to impossible unless you live on the coast - and I don't speak Spanish!

well most of them are English, although, there's one that's Gaelic:doh, and sometimes when the weather is right, i can get a Spanish station called onda cero or something like that:eek:
