Hello folks,

I notice in my 2000 2.7tdi auto that a few of the dash lights seems to be dead. including the clock, and half of the speed range lights (problem at night)

So i am going to just replace them all while i take the dash off to, but will change to an LED kit i think. But just wanted to know if anyone knows where to get a kit or if anyone here can make them to order? not sure what fitting they are, so may aswell find out before i take anything apart :)

Thank you.

Had a kit for my old mr2. Just trying to think of the name.

I also have a dead speedo light so id love to see what you find :thumb2

I done mine myself . I took the pod out the dash replace the bulbs and its easy to find little led light on ebay if they need replacing and as for the lcd display just take the back off the pod and you will see where the lcd is soldered in and I could see where the solder had let go just heated up and they stuck back down works fine now

I have a similar problem.. Can anyone advise what type of bulbs go in the dash pod and how many bulbs there are. If I can source the bulbs first then I only have to take it apart once. :D

Just be aware...
On some vehicles the ignition warning light, the red one with the picture of a battery on, relies on the current through it to give the initial current to the field coil on the alternator.

Changing this to LED could stop the alternator working, as the current will be much lower.

It may not be the case on the Terrano, it might be fed from the ECU, but just be aware of this. I haven't looked at the wiring schematic, so can't be sure...
