Can anyone tell me if the petrol gearbox will fit a diesel engine?:nenau

Can anyone tell me if the petrol gearbox will fit a diesel engine?:nenau

when i took the gearbox off my dead deisel it looked very simular but can't say 100%:nenau
i think the bell housing on the petrol is smaller(well it looked smaller from where i was lying)

Cheers elty, do you now if the bell housing is interchangable?

I don't think they will swop over but TRS or Toolbox will prob know but I think the gearing is lower on the petrol
