wet footwell T2

just found one of the culprits for my water ingress in the drivers footwell, see photo its now sorted sealed from engine bay and internal, does not look like its leaking but it was big time. daft design the water runs down between the panels from the engine bay and the sponge sorry i mean carpet soaks it up/ hope this helps someone. see image file below

you could try looking at the sun roof drainage tubes if you have a sunroof, or under the black trim by the wipers as I belive theres some place there it can leak a little

I was going to say that, the tubes perish and come off at the top where they join the sun roof and then the water runs down inside the trim.

also crap builds up behind front arches and stops drainage from front of sills, think
this is the sunroof drain. the water fills the crap and overflows behind panel where
bonnet release is, well did for me...sills actually drain to rear via hole in leading
edge of rear arch btw.

Check where the inner wing joins the bulk head under the bonnet they have a bit of worm problem there and the water can run in the car
