hi all and happy new year. i have a t2 lwb 2.7 . I need help does anyone know any other way to get the door to pull in tighter ?. my boot floor is all wet I have found that the back door seal to be the problem . so I was looking on here and found some done a thread on here about pushing some piping in the air holes on the rubber . I have managed to push some 6mm clear food pipe all the way around . but the problem is now i can't seem to get the back light off and there is a 2-4 mm sticks out on the lock side along the top and down the door . i have tried undoing the lock catch for the adjustment . but its not pulling it in . thanks

Are you sure it going onto the second position,ie if you close it gently, it will click on the first location, ie you can't open it just by pulling.:nenau
just a thought.

I found something that solarman 216 wrote about 2 locking postions backed it out abit now it pulls up nice and tight . thanks all .

I have adjusted the locking bracket so it pulls up tight and threaded 6mm tubing in the door seal . plus put 1 tube of tiger seal under the plastic door trim and under the trim around the opening . but now it is raining again and I have found for some reason the rear door seal and the rear door plastic the bit with the net on is wet at the bottom . which hang over the black plastic door carpet trim and the water is dropping on top and running off onto the carpet. I can't seem to find how its coming in on the door

please somebody help I have found where it is leaking the water in and in need of help . where the top half of the door seal sits in a track mine isn't but for some reason I can't get it in . does anyone know a easy way of doing it and getting it to stay ?

I think this thread may benefit from some pictures mate

I've never had to fix this issue so not really sure how to advise you how to fix it

I'm sure we'll crack it together in the end mate

Mine had popped out I sprayed some silicone spray onto the seal & just worked it back into place with a screwdriver but still have a slight leak but it is better

thanks for all the help . I think I fixed it. the person who had it before me must have filled the channel up with sealant I have now cleaned it all out and managed to pop the door seal back in . now I just need some rain to see if it will hold out water ? :bow . my guess is somebody either took the door seal out or it had popped out but they couldn't put it back in so they thought lets stuff sealant in its place . :nenau
