Welding Blanket

thinking about a wee welding job I need to do around the windscreen. Was thinking about getting a welding blanket.

Any recommendations, or suggestions?

I like good and cheap... especially after checking the prices of the blankets - £35 for a basic one!!

Sounds like a plan then. Don't really want to go to the expense. Got one of those mats already for my plumbing...

Since the demise of Asbestos, there is nothing on the market that comes close, soldering mat is no good against weld spatter, if you want to be double sure wet towel then hardboard, and I always keep a water spray handy, you know the type kitchen cleaner etc, Rick
