Thems just like mine:thumb2

Good luck, we'll expect a report after you've fitted them:thumb2

Please don't tell me that kits from ziggy on ebay..
A to Z motor spares

Don't take this personally, but I wouldn't buy "critical" components from Ebay, only trusted suppliers.

I roughly made them as near as I could the same length as the one it is replacing but would still have tracking done properly just to be on the safe side. Once I've got the oil leak sorted out the tracking is on my to do list.

I plan to measure before removing, and then next drive will be to get the tracking done!

:thumb2

Forgot to say but I also smeared in copper slip before assembling, make it easier to adjust tracking in future.

I don't take anything off a vehicle or put anything on a vehicle without copper slip!!!

:thumbs

When I bought this one, first job, remove all wheels including spare and apply copper slip. etc., etc., etc.,

:D

this is the way I do it, undo the nuts and crack the tapers, then lock the hub from moving (g cramps, bits of wood whatever you have available) once locked remove the old link and offer the replacement it must be adjusted to drop in exactly with no stress whatsoever, bobs your uncle job done, if track was good before it will be the same now with one proviso if the original was very sloppy then get it tracked, Rick

Thanks for that Rick.

:thumb2

Tracking has been adjusted all from one side at present to stop tyre wear, so it tracks true, but steering wheel is off centre (driving me crackers )

They haven't charged me for that, as soon as I have rods on it'll go back and have it all sorted.

needs to be done as when centered properly box is on its high point on the gear which is tapered off to each side, Rick

Useful to know. My main beef is that I hate an off-centre wheel. Last T2 was about 5° out. I drove my tyre supplier crackers getting that sorted.

I'm kinda OCD like that.
