Was given a £30 Amazon voucher for Christmas so decided to spend it wisely and Waxoyl the Terrano :sly

I have the Hammerite Waxoyl High Pressure Sprayer and have used this one one of the cylindrical 2.5l tins however as the Terrano doesn't look like there is much protection left underneath I'm going for a 5l tin.

What I want to know is does the 5l tin allow the spraying lance to be attached the same as the 2.5l tin?

This is what I have;

This is what I want to buy;

That sprayer is a pile of crap mate, Take it back or cancel the order seriously.

I'd buy one that can attach to a compressor, the only way.

I just brush it on:augie but a little tip if you choose to do it this way do the floor pan first & the chassis last:thumbs

Already got the lance, £9 from the car shop near me, the box was battered so they reduced it from £15 :sly

I used it on the Maverick and it was a god send, fantastic so it was!!!!

Mine worked so bad, In the end just use a compressor and made the job much easier and quicker.

I agree air comp is the way to go, clean the gun well after every use, mine spayed OK but would not work the lance, until I stripped it and cleaned it.
I dilute mine down with some white spirit in cold weather or keep a bucket of hot water close by to warm the waxoyl
Waxoyl does a good job of waterproofing the block paving too:doh
Give the underside a good wash with the pressure washer first, followed with the air gun to shift the trapped water

Either paint on, or buy spray underseal in the cans :thumb2

Shultz gun and compressor every time.
I just put a piece of hose pipe on the gun nozzle for the hard to reach bits.:thumb2

I think I paid about 20 quid for mine.
It's a sealy one from local motor factors.

Pump up garden sprayers

I use pump up garden water spray's from Wilkos then after a couple of uses they pack up and I bin them. They hold a couple of litres a fill.

I stand the sprayer in a bucket of warm water so the Waxoyl is nice and thin and spray away!

Didn't someone talk about mixing a splash of veg oil with the waxoil too :nenau

Important question please chaps... "If you get this gun and spray the underside, can you spray all the rubbers ect or must you be careful" :nenau

that would be a No, the large 5l is for filling up your 2.5l tin. the 2.5l is made to handle the pressure
