i want to waxoyl my car as its got loads of surface rust from being on an island before i got it, couple of questions:

where is best to get it from?

what do i have to do prep wise?

and what kit/type is best?

thanks in advance

you cant just waxoyl over surface rust. you need to grind it off, cut it out or whatever, back to shiny new metal

thats what i thought tho they're describsion says otherwise, slight false advertisement

Also look at Dinatrol Its supposed to be a bit better and there's a softer one for box sections. some good deal on ebay if you wait for offers.

Dinitrol is good, as is Bilt Hamber's stuff. They do Hydrate 80 which you just paint onto rust-affected steel. You need to keep it away from paint though. Bilt Hamber also do a cavity wax, which is good for the chassis and any box sections.

I have used Bilt Hamber products on my cars and totally agree, great stuff:thumb2
