so this morning i came out to a very wet drive, which considering it hadnt been raining, was alarming!
After bit of investigation and looking on here, it looks like water pump had gone, pressuming water from 'tell tale' hole under it.
Hour later and its all waiting for new one to arrive tomorrow.
While water was out of it, I thought might as well do thermostat, 2 front bolts out no prob, yeah you guessed it, 3rd (long one) snapped!
much swearing later and several coats of looking at it in disgust, i reckon it can be tapped to 10mm and make it into a stud instead. A little bit of jiggery and a spacer and itll work as good as new.
But does anyone know why that bolt is a long one? cant see any reason for it to be, doesnt appear to nip anything else and doesnt go all way through.
