Wasn't torsion bar

last night i thought the torsion bar snapped on my t2, it hadn't, it was the anchor point that had sheared, the left side is a sheared one, and the right side is a good one from my swb

everything works perfectly now

it would seem it didn't have much purchase as the splines have stripped but only 10mm in ?

can it not go in further so more spline is in contact ?

Aye, I have no idea what happened. When we took the torsion bars out, and had a closer look, the bar was intact. We fitted The other anchor and the bar slid further in this time and went with a nice clunk

Maybe they had been re-indexed before and not re-assembled correctly.

Maybe the previous owner wasn't a member of this club.
