prefer a project truck of some sort as it will only be a platform to build on so anything considered, needs to be cheap though. like i say anything considered but swb only..

Yes I've seen that one, shame it's a lwb. It was on eBay a couple of weeks back.

Ah I misread, yep it is a lwb :(

What about chopping the back chassis overhang and it would be more like a Mwb trayback?

Well as it happens I've been doing a little research and thought I could shorten the chassis in the middle, and like you say make it a mwb... It's just the amount of fab work with a 4door body.

Have spoken to the guy on eBay with swb 2.8 in black but it's a bit too much for what I want..

Im guessing it's not going to be road legal if you are chopping the chassis in the middle.

Funny enough I was thinking of selling my project, then slapped myself in the face and will wait for winter as I expect to get back on it.

It was just a thought really, too much work in all honesty. The reality of it is I've approached that late forties " do I really want to spend all my spare time under an old truck" and I don't think I do to be honest..I want a project but not that big :augie

Late forties, you got loads of get up and go yet, go for it, helps keep you young, start giving up at your age is no good, Rick:thumb2
