Wanted:Volvo S60 2.4 diesel engine

Mates wife has knackered the engine on their 03 Volvo S60 (he's blaming her but he knew there was a noisy belt and didn't fix it),so he is looking for an engine.Any leads on good UK breakers would be helpful.He's checked out shipping to Ireland and it's reasonable,if he can locate a good engine. You might keep it in mind if visiting breakers yards. Thanks.

the site says that there are four Volvo S60 03 engines available, one Limerick, one tipperary, one waterford, one monaghan. The information is not always totally up to date on the site though and the parts can be gone by the time you call to look for them. But I have dealt with the place mentioned in Limerick. They have a fine operation and part I got was fine (T2 vacuum pump for E 50.00). Also bought a second hand pick-up off the guy in Tipperary for a very good price (he specialises in damaged repairables but I didn't think he sold parts so it might be necessary to buy the whole car. He advertises in Autotrader also). Never bought anything off the guy in Waterford but have spoken to him on the phone. Don't know anything about the guy in monaghan. You can let me know if you want me to check out either the Limerick place or the guy in Waterford as I'm not too far from either depending on what day of the week it is.

while I am at it, might be no harm giving Traynors up the North a call. Their web-site says they are breaking four S60's at the moment and as far as I know they ship anywhere in Ireland.
Or you could always try a Volvo dealer!!!!!!!!!!!
