I just use a long thin screw driver... You only actually need one, as the clip only has to be pushed back, and then latches back in the released position, so you can do one at a time.

You will have to reset the clip once the radio is out, but it is pretty obvious how it works once you can see it.

The radio can take a bit of a wiggle to get out, and I must admit I use my hand in the cassette slot to gently ease it out.

Ah right I wasn't sure if it needed to be special or something. Wicked :)

I think I used cut down wire coathangers......(actually the dowsing rods I keep in the back of the car...).....

I have done a bit of dowsing as well, fascinating isn't it, Rick

Yes it certainly is Rick.

I traced hitherto unmapped water supplies running across fields, 16th century building foundations, water leaks in underground supplies.....all clean, wierd fun.....a friend can dowse for illness.....even wierder....:nenau

Just Googled it at work :doh

Looks like I'm going to need a few hours to read it all properly and make my decision on whether it's bullsh*t or not :nenau

Interesting that 9 of the 12 Water companies in the UK have admitted to still using the technique to find pipes.

I can assure you all it is genuine, I have done it many times, I will keep a set in the car in future and be happy to do a demonstration, Rick

It's Wierd

We visited the Rollright Stones site, they have dousing rods there (bent coat hangers in a wooden sleeve:thumb2)to show laylines. As a sceptic I gave it a go, every time I crossed the area the rods crossed :confused::nenau.

Another thing to add to my "Retirement things to give it a go" list.
