Doh, just sold a set of 35s on fleabay
But the 35s wouldn't have fitted without modding! (noticed them by the way Pete, if only I had the pennies and the Trol it's 2" lift!)
Steels are easier to repair (big hammer!) but there's no reason you can't offroad with alloys - I do :nenau
I am planning to get steels though for ease of repair plus my alloys are looking rather tatty.
On standard ride height 31" is your max as for wheel size Nissan fitted 15" until 1999, 2000-2003/4 (depending on the model spec) 16" were fitted & 2004 until end of production 17" wheels were fitted. For me the 17's are the best looking wheel ever fitted to the Terrano & they are fitted to mine but if/when I get another set of rims for mud tyres i'll prob go for 15's as the tyres are cheaper, 16's cost a touch more for tyres but aren't bad but the 17's are costly depending on what you want but saying that i've just fitted 4 AT's to mine & it works out about the same as it would have cost me to fit well known & trusted tyres on my old Astra coupe:augie
