Were you not tempted to take Grandads 3ltr along for the trip?

Ah, a chimney :splif

:lol :lol :lol :lol Didn't think of that, Rob was smoking his tent out with Cherry and Vanilla tobacco as he swore that it would ward off the midges but it really didn't help :( I've been eaten to shreads!!!

You're too kind mate and give me way too much credit, it's just the camera on my Galaxy S7 and I've tweaked a few settings here and there :thumb2

I did think about it you know but it would have struggled in places and I would have def taken the steps off  Not to mention the tow bar should I have attempted the bomb hole :doh

T Doug - You'll also be pleased to know that the ford we drove through, specifically the section where you did your "water wash" isn't actually off piste, that's the way Elty went and he's adamant that's the correct route :thumb2

The water level was significantly lower this time but still enough that we had a 2 second scare with Paultrol's Patrol but all was good with a bow wave :naughty

2 second scare as in a cough and splutter or water racing up the bonnet?

Cleared them away from my tent a treat, never said it would stop them biting you! :lol

Looks like you guys had a good week end, by comparison we had a very lazy time looking at old motors and stalls of old motor parts and getting sloshed, Rick

Oh yes got some rivet on brake linings that I can fit to my car trailer instead of the crap and expensive bonded linings that can fail in as little as six months, got loads of shoes with no linings, all I gotta do is some drilling and find my long not used brake rivet set and die, but easy enough to make new, and the Mrs found a perfect such and such tea pot to replace one she dropped a few years ago together with a couple of other odds that now makes a complete service, hope £60 for a pot we never use was worth it for the whole set? :banghead:banghead:banghead other than that picked up some ceramic fuses for the tin tent, a battery hydrometer, etc, Rick
