wales febuary meet ...come along

OK im trying to sort out an appropriate meet for Feb.


anyone interested in meeting up please let us know so we can arrange a meet. at a suitable venue

after the success of the January meet it would be great to meet some other members in our area. obviously we wont be going silly again

also i do think there is potential for a weekender later in the year, with camping etc , so with the credit crunch really biting it might be a good get away for some too.

maybe some others from around the uk would like to join us

ive heard from lacroupade and he's told me he has some mild lanes up his way near llandovery,

im looking into this further with a view to sorting feb meet there . light off roading and lunch or dinner

anyone else with ideas feel free to join in

i would think its not going to be silly off road stuff as makeitfit has only just got his tdi so wont be extreme ready yet.

probably just exploring lanes and lunch and play with ideas for trucks

Count me in Ex - I've managed to find a little Kurdish bloke to help out with some of my weekend building work, so I can nip down for a weekend - got any dates in mind? The forestry tracks above Llandovery (north of Rhandirmwyn if anybody has a map) are very mild - also unoccupied, especially at weekends. Then theres a really nice scenic route around Llyne Briane reservoir (easily Googled) into the forest the other side....very remote beyond there...decent enough pub in Rhandirmwyn as well...

I'll post a few pics of the tracks in the snow last week so you get the idea.

No free wkends

I would luv to have come down for this but I aint got free wkends for a while.
Im wanting to do lanes in Wales this year so Im keeping my eye out for trips and dates.

times a bit short so what about first weekend of March? that gives time for a bit of planning and for me to do a bit of a recce?!

well ideally it needs to be in feb as we have not had a meet this month iand id like to keep it to at least once a month.
