Looking at buying sonme waffle boards

Seen a few on ebay on varying thickness, 25mm, 38 mm or 50mm thick.

And lengths, so which do most people go for ?

Richard

Depoends on the length, ooh er missus, a 1m one will be fine at 38mm :D If you can imagine that totally covered in mud you'll be working hard to lift the bugger:eek:
If you want longer ones then go up to 50mm and get a mate to help shift it :lol

Yes forgotten about the weight of them when full of mud !

Been looking at 1m long 38mm thick ones or 1.2m long 25mm thick ones

Does anyone one know if can get the 1.2 m lenght wise in the back of a terrano ? Sure the width of the door is 1m but its wider than that
Decisions decisions !

Well treated myself and bought a 1.2 m 38mm thick set of waffle boards from a ebay seller.
lol did check that they would fit width wise in the rear of my swb terrano before goijng for th slightly longer ones !

Hopefully they will be here for the Derbyshire day but not decided if will do Stannage edge yet

I was thinking of buying some waffle boards, but not for the Maverick.

I want to use them as a boarding plank on the boat, I was looking at the ebay ones, 25mm thick, 1000mm x 300mm, I need white or grey, how much would they deflect say over 3 feet with a weight of 90-100kg in the middle, say? Any where I can get them cheap?

best regards,
Rustic
