anybody had a vitara ?
any problems with them ?
she`s seen a jx4u for sale, gonna have a look tomorrow.
i know its a hairdressers car !

If you do a search on here, you will find some very favourable reviews, as quite a few members either have, have had, or have been thinking of getting them.

Fantastic cars as far as I am concerned, and I have had 2, the first did 240K miles in 3 years, on original engine.

The early diesels did supposedly have a problem with the heads, but the JX 4 U, is a 1.6 petrol, and their engine is as robust as you could ask for...

Again, on the early diesels, they did say 3000 mile oil changes, but I am pretty sure that in one of their tech bulletins, if you used a quality part synthetic oil, it was changed to every 6K

our mate has one as as far as I can tell its alright, bit low so ground easily but she's no gonna be off roading it is she??:nenau

I had one as my first car, pretty gutless and did pretty crap mpg.
