I brought a pretty expencive camera a few months ago and its quite a good video recorder.
however after watching the pretty poor vids I took of strata im thinking of getting one I can fix to the window screen for steadier recording off road.
any recommendations?
ive had a quick browse and some are very cheap.
I need to be able upload info from it to the pc, and it must be able to record for as long as possible.
I haven't read the full spec of this but would summat like this do for my adventures?

after seen your photography and videoing fez Im not sure if its the camera or the camera man:lol
you are seriously good with a camera. thanks for all the great pics....

the go pros are superb - we use them when doing a bit of skirmishing and the video doesn't break up. I do have one of those cheap ebay cameras though, and although the quality is exactly what I expected for £12.99, they are pretty good. If money is an issue though, id be buying this:

again, quality/price, don't expect too much but for the use they are intended they are very good.

Yes, Make sure it's the hero version. Which are HD.
You can get some great deals. My last gopro I got for £100 buy it now with loads of accessories. Sold it in the end for like £170.

I now have the gopro hero 3 silver.
Only issue with gopros in their waterproof housing audio is a bit crap.

Nearly forgot about the kodak playsport, Great camera. Can be had for £50 and under. I've got one here, I might be selling.

Hi guys,
Question........being a bit travel lagged, I went and purchased an SD card, for my nice new, front facing video camera.........only to find that the slot is tiny.....and the info says TF card......now am not really a total dimwit (?), so am I correct in thinking that I need to get one of the mini SD cards with the full size adaptor to read the card to pc/device?
I can use the card in my camera, no no great loss.
I was thinking a 16Mb card is enough to loop record, until it has the situation that I don`t want to happen.....:nenau

Yeah mini sd card with a adapter, make sure the card is class 10 or better.

Mine is also the micro sd too but the 32gb version but the big thing is the class, 10 is fine for mine too. I put a class 4 i think it was in there to test it but it caused all kinds of problems.

Aldi had a class 10 32Gig recently around £13, they are only available by asking at the till, too easy to nick I guess
It is worth asking may be some left.
Works great in my cameras
