VAG Can or Can Commander

Sorry not Nissan related but has anyone had anything to do with VAG Can or Can Commander, it's the really advanced diagnostic software for VW's. I need to get a thing called "SKC Code" from our other car and these are the two bit's of software to do the job.

Thanks for the reply but apparently it doesn't give you the "SKC", that software and cable will do everything else but won't give the SKC. Dealers can get the SKC but won't give it out:nenau

The reason the dealers won't hand out the SKC's now is that they themselves don't actually know the SKC, as the whole process is now carried out online with a VAG system in Germany.

Would that be a way of making money by any chance, I'm sure that it's in the name of security :lol

Anyway's found a bloke local to me that will cut my two key blanks, supply and program two transponder chips as well as reading the SKC for £60.

So for the same price a dealer wanted for a single spare key I've been able to get a remote central locking kit made of VAG bits with two plip keys all programed up for the same price.
