So at work today a particular old skool jag was recovered on the low loader.

I wont mention specifics but it's a wreck, every panel is beat up, the interior Is beat up, and now he's done the engine too, typical symptoms of an abused lack of maintenance engine.

Now it's really dead... Just incase your interested, here's a v8 with one of the two timing chains snapped clean, running on 4 cyl only.

All the valves are shot and cylinder head damaged too...

It took one of our techs about 5 mins to find the break

The work without cylinder head and valves is shy of 4,000

Well, if you neglect any engine it will eventually die...chain, gear or belt driven :D

Excited....... then my hopes were dashed!

When I read the title and saw the first post about an old school v8 Jag I thought "Hey, I can help with this! That's my daily job", then I saw the video and realised peoples meaning of old school differ greatly! :lol

Heres one like my old school V8 Jag (Daimler actually :thumbs)
