Usb ports, where from

I want a bank of usb ports for my dash has anyone got or seen any, been the usual places and dont really want one of those usb and cig ports type things.
Just want usb ports and 3 or more..thanks

Looked on eBay, I went for normal 12v sockets, so more flexible

Work in hand as not fitted or wired up yet.

I got a twin USB outlet that just plugs into the lighter socket for our Jeep and a similar unit in the permanent live socket when I need extra.

The better quality one has two different current outputs for Phone & Satnav similar to this one.

i got 4xusb in a small board that is hard wired into fused live feed.about £4.00 on bay.does dash camera, pad i use for nav,charges spare battery in back linked to 2000w inverter i can plug my caravan into give me mains and charge phone up that leaves 1 spare.also put 1 in caravan for tv,phone,voltmeter,pad.
max output is 6 amps at 12v.

I have a couple of these, one in the caravan, and one as a replacement for my cigarette lighter socket in the dash of my car...

Very easy to fit, in fact, on the car, I just popped the spades out of the original cigarette socket plug, and put covers over them, so they could then go straight onto the USB socket, which screwed into the hole where the socket used to be.



On Suz's car I used one of these that looks the same as the extra switches I have installed... in her car, I made a plate up that replaces the ash tray, and put it in there.

They are on Ebay, in various combinations, with or with out the facia. I put the volt meter in the caravan as well as the USB output.

Mmmm some good suggestions, i like the switch styled ones would be nice and easy to fit in the centre console.
