Hi guys i have problem with my 96 R3m it goes a bit unstable at the back over 60mph (it rocks from side to side) i have put new shocks on the back but that did not make any difference i changed the tyres on the back and that did make a significant improvement however it is still not right do you think it is worth changing the rear springs i have had a good look at all the rubber bushes etc and they seem fine.

YOU COULD TRY THE SPRINGS BUT I WOULD UP GRADE THE BUSHES TO PLOYURTHEANE I DID AND MY BACK END IS QUITE STIFF

Have you checked the bushings on each tie bar (left and right) that run from the chassis to the rear axle, also the bar that runs parallel to the rear axle? Also check the rear wheel bearings.
Also could the problem really be the front of the vehicle?

i thought about the poly bushes. But i got a set of anti roll bar bushes of milner the ones for the ball joints where ok but the one that hold the roll bar back to the truck where the wrong diameter. so as mine is an import i guess it is different.

i checked the bushes and so has a mechanic mate and he cannot see anything obvious. as for the front i changed the front struts in the summer.
