under load injector knock

when engine is under load i have noticed a what i can describe as a harsh injector knock but no black smoke or no loss of power any ideas what this could be also no engine light comes on i have spoken to a fitter who thinks poss low fuel pressure sensor help please its driving me crazy

Have you checked fault codes with a paper clip ?

Possible number 1 injector with the sensor ?

how do i check with paper clip
i have plugged in auto diag computer as work for main dealer but has come
up with no codes what so ever

What year is your truck and were you using OBD plug or nissan one?
Does it happen all the time or just when warming up?

hi its a 2002 2.2 i used the 16 pin plug in the fuse box area
checked dtc but no codes stored

If it's only when cold then I wouldn't worry. Fuel timing is altered at warm up and you get a very audible diesel knock . Bit like choke
