Shrewsbury is lovely and I came very close to living there. The only thing it lacks is decent hills near by.
Having lived in Chester I'm confused, it's quite a rough city and horrendous when the races are on.
No sign of Wrecsam on there. Can't think why! :nenau

Chester & Derby

My Daughters home Chester is rated number 5.

I lived there for 6 months in 1967 lodging at the YMCA whilst working for the now defunct Associated Octel who manufactured Tetra-Ethyl-Lead the petrol additative.

It's a great place and at that time women outnumbered men by a big margin.
I went out with a girl from Luton whose family had moved to work in the new Vauxhall Factory at Ellesmere Port.

I am languishing at number 67 about right for a Grumpy Old Git! lol
