will 235,85,16s fit under my standard arches? it is a 2003 t2 commercial and yes its white :lol

Most likely not. They are a bit taller than the 265/75/16s I've got on and even with a 2" lift they required a fair amount of hammering and bending of bodywork, bumper cutting and mud flaps removing. They will go on eventually but you'll have to do a fair bit of work to get em to clear.

thanks.:thumbs
so what would be the best way to gain a bit more ground clearence?

I have 235/70/16 mud terrains on my T2 and i haven't had to do any modifications to fit them.

the only way to gain true ground clearance is bigger tyres
thats the only thing that will give you space between the floor and your diff (the lowest point)

as a wise man once said to me .... ground clearance is ok, but it just means you will go in deeper. and still get stuck at some point

so all your doing is reducing the people who can drag you out

its worth a thought
