My mate had a set fitted to his works transit & he said the tyres were deadly zero grip in the wet:doh I know you want tyres for just road use but a lot of road tyres are rubbish in the wet when you have a RWD motor, I fitted a set of cooper AT3's yes they are an all terrain tyre but they have made no difference to my MPG & are infact quieter than the road tyres they replaced but the huge difference is wet weather grip these have out performed the road tyres in the wet & it's rare the back end tries to slide out oh & they wearing fantastic only worn 1mm off in 18 months:augie it's worth thinking about poss going for a set of AT's plus you get an extra 3mm of tread as most AT's are 10mm min as standard where road tyres are 7-7.5mm
