Can i put 245/70/16 on my standed nissan rims that as 235/70/16 at the mo

Tyre widths

Its not a big increase in width but I have found that fitting wider tyres in this sort of situation gains little and can just cost more for the sake of it.

On the downside it reduces what I woud describe as steering feel and increases "sidewall wallow" I would only increase width on the same aspect ratio with a correspondingly wider rim.

On the upside the ride can improve and be softer.

The answer is yes but wont make any real difference, might look a little better, instead if you want a beefier look try and widen out the wheels a little either cheapie with spacers or a nasty set of offset wheels :sly

Will fit easy

Mine were cheaper than same pattern / make as 235/70 16
