Cant remember fully the existing tyre size, but they are 235x16,

Getting a good deal on 4 new 215x16 mud tyres, guessing these will stretch to the terrano rim ok?

Standard size tyre for 16" wheels is 235/70R16:thumbs TBH I wouldn't go for a skinnier tyre like a 215 as it would reduce the road holding & if it's a 215R16 tyre you would only gain 15mm in over all size which to me isn't worth reduction in handling:doh

Would you notice a dramatic difference between the two sizes?

Others will be along with their views on:thumb2 but to me it would become even more tail happy in the wet due to narrower tyres & that they are muds as there is less rubber making contact to the ground.

I would avoid going skinnier bud tbh, same reasons as Sweety.

Whether they would actually fit on the rim depends on the width of the rim and what range of rim width the manufacturer specifies for the actual tyres. (varies between the brands/makes)

By the way your tyre sizes are missing out the figure in the middle which gives the sidewall height eg. 265/75R16 (my 32" muds)

Unless the figure for sidewall height is more than on your current tyres then you're going to have a smaller diameter on your truck which I wouldn't recommend :nenau
