I would say the speedo is under reading for some other reason and they may be correct or close enough to the correct size. What size does the tyre size calculator on the downloads sections say the tyres would need to be to correct your speedo? 225 / 70 / 15's ??

Your tyres are correct, if I remember correctly your oddometer is in Km but your speedo is in Mph so I expect there has been some jigery-pokery going on re import, Rick

235/75x15 would be correct, was size on my 96 t2.

thin earliest spec was 215x15 but 235 is just wider version.

after that went on to 16 the 17 inch rims, the width of 235
stayed same, the profile got lower to compensate for rims.

As all above :clap
235/75R15
Is the correct size M8 :thumbs

By the sounds of it i dont think any of the Terrano / Mistral / Mavericks read correctly :doh :nenau

When i had standard tyres it was reading under & now i have 33"s its reading over :lol

isnt it printed on a sticker on the door frame?

If they havent been removed like mine :nenau

my 96 mk 1 terrano II was on 215/80/15's.
now on 235/75/15's.
speedo and sat nav dont agree on mph.

i thought sat navs werent THAT accurate anyway??

neither is the speedo:lol:lol:lolwhen i pass them light up signs that tell you your speed they are never the same as the speedo.
running my tdi on 31/10.50/15's and thats about put the speedo right.

i always take a half way between the sat nav and the speedo as being fairly correct as they are a fair distance apart.

I am sure on my fisrt t2 they were 215 80 15 standard but the tyre sticker in the door jamb listed 235 75 15 as an alternative size (perhaps with alloys?)

so 235 75 15 is accetable and also a good size for getting a decent price on new tyres.
