We tend to record what we want, then fast forward the adverts.
We can watch a one hour programme is in around 40 minutes, cutting out all the cr*p.

Mind you with some programmes, the adverts are the best part...:doh

Yes I noticed that a long time ago.its designed to reach your ears when your putting the kettle on...

Our TV has a bit of software that is supposed to regulate the volume to stop this advert problem, but we find it seems to ignore the adverts and just do it when a loud exciting bit of a film comes on...

This old cookie has been around for donkeys years. The tv companies are bound by strict regulations and they will tell you the level does not increase its just that the sound on adverts is louder:nenau

Never worked that out either.

Steve is right, but this is also right, since flag screens you will notice that movies are now screwed, someone always has to be the volume person during a movie, shoot scene turn down, whisper talking crank it up another 15 on the remote

But the old fat Tvs always used to be that way :thumb2

Well, for me the volume seems to vary between programmes....SWMBO says turn it down!

But I haven`t touched the control......
