turbo

i can here my turbo whistling/spining at 1000rpm is this normal? i wanted to drive without using turbo to see what i could squeese out of the old girl..

im sure it is..

as its spun by the engin exhaust.
so its always spinning.
but the faster to go, the faster it spins the more fuel / air pushed in,

just keep revs a LOW as posable..

you want to aim for no higher that 2500..

but there IS a drawer back!!!!!!!!

zippy if i ever meet you you can have ago of my trol and take the rpm needle all the way around... its still dull:lol never bought it for speed..

Your turbo will always spin / spool up or you wont go anywhere...?
Whistling is perfectly normal & tells you that the turbo is a ok.!
If you drive with the turbo just turning, no whistling due to no right foot, all you will achieve is burning more fuel as your engine will be laboring unnecessarily.!

the troll i test drove before getting the T2 wasnt slow... just to BIG to keep on the drive at home
