I am currentley (2120) sat in the services on the a80 outside glasgow having experienced major power loss on my t2, will not rev at all, and after checking the fault code (0905) found i have no turbo pressure so now I have to wait for recovery back to Leeds. The car has been sat all day on the scottish hill rally service area and I fear has caught land roveritis from the vast quantity of solihull products parked nearby.
Does anybody know how much a recon or replacement will be?

could be electrical if turbo fails more likely end up wrecking whole engine sure pipe hasnt blown off holed somewhere?

That's what I had on the M3 last year , major loss of power wouldn't rev above 2000 rpm, rescued by Green Flag. Didn't look for fault code but replaced MAF as suggested by Nissan service manager over the phone. Magic, fault cured, they even had their delivery man bring it to the recovery garage. Good luck.

i am now very confused it turns out i was looking at the codes for the 3l engine not he 2.7l however the code given 0905 isn't listed for the 2.7 and the sensor listed on the 3l that will give this code isn't fitted to the 2.7 :?: .
Also having looked at the engine in daylight and now having a set of tools the turbo appears to running ok providing plenty of pressure on the outlet side there is however a coating of oil on both the inlet and outlet of the turbo
Further confusion is now being caused by the fact that the engine runs at full power when first started providing the revs are not allowed to drop below 1000rpm if this happens the the engine loses all power taking 10-15 seconds to rev to 3000rpm with a maximum of 3700rpm if it allows you to rev it at all, also the mil light is not lit up but does function normally on startup
