turbo boost gauge

I got myself a boost gauge and was wondering where would be the best place to fit the t piece that comes with the kit.
Some of you have these types of gauges and I thought I would seek your advice first before I cut into any pipes.

For ease of fitting I T'eed into the vacuum pipe that goes onto the turbo's wastegate valve.
However Timbo said it's better to fit somewhere else that I cant remember at the mo...........................................:doh I'll be back

I'd go for post inter cooler, as this will be a point more consistent with with the pressure at the inlet ports.

On my 2.7 Td, I "T'd" into the metal pipe that goes into the Aluminium pipe that goes across the rocker cover with the word "TURBO" on it.


The boost gauge will not show anything when ticking over or revving, you need to take it for a drive...:thumb2

I fitted mine into the vacume pipe. Works a treat:thumbs
