thinking of havjng a tunit 11 box fitted to my 2001 2.7 tdi terrano for a little more power when towing our caravan. Does it really do what it says on the tin?

yup.

Everyone I have know that has one, swears by them.

Yes they do but they're a bit pricey these days.

Not these days as it's more than a remap
Use the search thing as there's been a number of posts recently about remaps costing around 150/175 quid or so :sly

if i read it right the maf amp will just bring an old/tired maf back up to normal power(no difference if maf is fine)? a remap will alter the performance of the whole system? i too would like a few more gee gee's when towing.
