up and out at 7am looking for hills to play with. i have yet to find one the trol cant get me up although if i try hard enough i will. poped over the moors to a hill i used to call killer hill when i had a mountainbike ( you wanted to die well before you pedeled to the top). to my suprise i was the first there and i couldnt hold of any longer. 2nd gear 4wd high and it pissed it with just a bit of spinning half way up. then i remembered my mate who asked me if i went down last time the snow was here, i hadnt i bottled it:augie. so i turned the bus around and went back (2nd low box)

finding it easy and running out of time i found another hill but there was a golf coming down so i was thinking it cant be bad, whats the point.. i went up anyway 2nd high and the troll didnt make it:nenau half way up and going nowhere. i have no experiance or very little and emptied my arse abit wondering how i was getting the motor out. dir lock on and it only went up the hill acouple of foot with the back end swinging like a pendulam and it stoped on the path with the rear corner close to the wall
the golf had turned around part way up the hill and not come all the way down

i worried for nothing. 1st gear low box no diff lock and it pulled of easy.. i think next time i should at least take a spade as i was looking for problems and pooed when i got what i asked for

I always carry a spade and a bucket of salt, never used it, but saves any problems.

I remember when I first got the Mav, we were close to the beach and I saw a section of pebbles to park on.... I thought great..

The rear axle bogged down to the diff. So I thought leave it there then let the audience disperse and came back to it an hour later, selected 4wd low 1st gear, what was I worried about, it came straight out.

The pebbles were round, about 2" diameter and very deep, they behaved like ball bearings.

Since then I carry all sorts of things.

sounds like fun Martin, glad your enjoying your Troll....

Hey Martin, if it snows big style over Christmas we'll all have to get together for a drive around:thumbs
