I have a 2.7 TD Mistral N reg Auto had a problem selecting/coming out of 4WD H/L and from 4L-2H
was out today having a play but when i came to select 2H it wasn't having any of it! it was grating away had selected Nutral in the auto box as per instructions in the end switched off selected 2H and restarted fine but dosen't like it when engine running not been a problem before any one else come across this problem can you help ?

Could something got kicked up underneath which is stopping you from fully shifting :roll: sorry for not being much help

If its grating then the gearbox must still be spinning, were you still moving? you say you put the AT in neutral, does it try to creep when in neutral when in 2wd hi?

Yea was stopped and no theres no creep but went out again last night to try again bit better if you move it quicker understand what your saying rather puzzeld though as hasn't done it before thanks for your surggestion
