Hi,
Having changed the bushes on the anti-roll bar to try and stop a knock from the suspension (which it did, but annoyingly there is another one!), I think that I now need to replace the bushes on the front trailing arm (big bar that connects from under the axle back to the chassis) not sure if I've got the right terminology - part of my problem is that I can't find a guide for it. The manual that I've got misses out changing these bushes! Anybody got one?
Anyway, I can move the arm (where it connects to the axle) side to side and on one of them - I can even see daylight! I'm guessing that these are shot?
How easy a job is it to replace these myself? I'm an enthusiastic amateur who's prepared to have a go!
Any advice on whether I should use genuine Nissan rubber bushes or Milners poly bush offering. The truck doesn't get much hammer off road, but I do want something that will last.
Thanks,
