Have "acquired" a shiny new Brink 4 bolt tow ball, so started to look at replacing the knacked trailer socket. The truck had a 12N and a 12S socket fitted. Both were corroded and full of muddy water, the cabling to the 12S wasn't even connected, and there was a length of 11 core cable zip tied to the chassis into the front passenger foot well where the connections were. This has all been binned and the original connections "made safe". I'm going to fit just a metal 12N socket, connected into the rear end loom. Can someone tell me the colours for the rear light functions ?

no1 yellow lh indicator
2 blue rear fog
3white common return (earth)
4 green rh indicator
5 brown rh side tail light
6 red stop light
7black lh side. tail light

if you havent allready paid for the metal one, fit a new plastic one instead they last longer ;)

same goes for plugs the alloy ones are very brittle!

also if you can get it up as high as posable, extreme has hi son the back step,. ask hell show you a pic.

Thanks guys. I've already got the metal one, :doh. I'm going to have a look at fitting it to the bumper, in the space to the right of the fog lamp.
