So, I was thinking of upgrading my 4x4 for one of these...

What sort of trade in for a 1999 T2 TDi, top spec, in great condition, I should be able to get.

1m wading depth, 18" ground clearance.... Portals.... all out of the box... I am in love... If I can get enough, I might take 2, one for the wife!:augie

Sorry but trade in values are peanuts, as it turns out less than £2000 for an 05 plate with 11 month mot.

Would look good in Sainsburys car park!

Isn't there a rollover on the lottery tonight?
*crosses everything*

Hmmm, so it's not looking good for the T2 being a substantial deposit... I wonder If Suz would mind me becoming a Toy Boy to some very rich, very very old lady... Just in case the lottery does not come through....:augie:nenau

I am having serious `I`trouble here........I want, I want........:thumb2

G wagons look good but are expenive to keep. Just look for a battery for one. A friend of mine had one. Has an 05 Terrano 3.0 now.David.

True, but lets face it, if you can afford £200K plus, for a car to take off road, who is going to worry about the cost of a battery?:augie:D

New G Wagons

I have driven the new G 350 Diesel and the 6.3 AMG I think they look nice and retro they would last a lifetime but and its a big but the drive lets them down.

Plus side is even at a horsey upmarket event unlikely to be another in the car park unlike ten a penny Range Rovers and Cyanne's.

Minus side is they have strange steering on the 350 in particular there seems to be no castor action in the steering so when going round an island you have to pull the steering back as you take the lock off !

it will sell in loads as a 4x4 prestige value,if i had that kind of money and could afford the running costs i would have one.
