think t2 will take 140 on nose subject to a bar thats built to rock, like my old witter was
complete with its four bolt mount for the ball.

I have used them on the back end of a LWB vitara, they did the job, but it seemed to get a bumping noise as if bottoming out very easily and I suspect would put strain on the few coils of the spring that are still free to move, as most are effectively trapped.

On the bright side, they seem to sell for more on ebay second hand than you can buy them for from towsure new!

I agree with Plank (not going to make a habit of it though :augie:augie:augie )

I had a set on the back of my SEAT Toledo.

Up side , lifted and held the back end nicely with the van on the back.

Down side, affected the dynamics and handling of the car badly when unladen for much the reason Plank mentions. Spring compression rates were fcukd.

Wouldnt touch em. Far better off new set of springs if its sagging :thumb2

If this carries on you are going to have to kick me in the shins or something, just to restore the status quo ... :augie :thumb2

I have them on my t2, fitted them when i had a soggy back end, they didn't cure the problem because my problem was the lack of bump stops. They were missing when I bought it and it passed MOT without them.

The bump stops on the terrano are part of the suspension, as you load up they start to share the load with the springs sort of built in spring assister's, yours may be missing like mine.

I believe the are £88 from nissan, got mine for £ 25 from ebay.

I have had the towsure spring assistors on a nissan premeria estate and a ford cortina estate both worked well.

regards bri
