So looking at a patrol that doesnt appear to have been a tug, unless its been
taken off to hide history/use.

What sort do you recommend, and is it something I can fit easily.

today was quoted £199 fitted with twin electrics by a local caravan dealer.

not fussed what sort of bar it is as long as it doesnt have those pesky 4 x m10
mini bolts the terrano has. would like a nice pin/ball combi. have noted theres
a ring up on the step bumper too for recovery?

thanks guys, the quote was from rotherham caravans, pop was there collecting his
van from service.

been on the bay, looks like there are removable types/swan necks etc but a cheap
n tough flange plate likely best for hd towing and off roading.

be handy to know if needs bypass relay or if elecys are easily connected.
from a download for a pct bar looks like bumper has to come off for chassis to be
drilled. so maybe 200 not bad all in all.

Hi Richard, I had a witter bar fitted to mine as it had none when I got it.
I did not fit it myself as the bumper has to be removed and the brackets slide inside the chassis, before being bolted.

I took the easy option as I didn't want the hassle of removing the rear bumper.

PM Dave Mudd as he fitted his.

:)

tbh its removing bumper that puts me off job, have read it now on 2 different manuf.'s
downloads, then theres the knitting for 12n/s...

what did you pay btw?

Not exactly a customer of mine but I have sold em the odd thing and they're over the road from one of my regulars. They fitted me a tow bar to my Renault Master van last year.

Mention me and PJ Parts, may or may not help the price but long term it may help others if I can put some business there way.

Hi ya have you got the tow bar sorted yet

P.s Very easy to do no real problems.

thanks Davemud

thanks guys, sorted as already got one on, plus dixon bate pin ball and twin elecies.
just want it home, going thursday and hitched up to the Abbey.

thanks for the thought but dont do extra frontal bling, unless was a hd bumper and
winch mount like say dadba's. otherwise like a reasonable stock appearance.

tyres are a concern, look newish but are 'ht's ? not as square shouldered as my at2s.
